Date:

Join us in St Giles’ Cathedral, Edinburgh on Saturday 17 May for a special service to mark our 80th anniversary.

Guests are warmly welcomed, and no RSVP is required. Please note that as a historic building, the Cathedral does not have wheelchair-accessible toilets.

Our keynote will be delivered by The Right Honourable John Swinney, First Minister of Scotland, and our worship will be led by the Wild Goose Resource Group and Siskin Green.

We will be joined by Temwa Kasakula, Christian Aid’s Global Thematic Advisor for Sexual Reproductive Health and Gender, who will be visiting Scotland from Malawi, as well as Patrick Watt, Christian Aid CEO.

Looking for other ways to mark our 80th year? Your church could join our Trees of Hope project and plant a tree as a sign of commitment.

We hope to see you in Edinburgh on 17 May. We are grateful for the support the churches in Scotland have given us over these 80 years - the unstoppable power of hope is what keeps driving us to work for a world where all can live with dignity, equality and justice. Because we still believe in Life before Death.
