'Speak out for those who cannot speak, for the rights of all the destitute.’ - Proverbs 31:8
Racial Justice Sunday - a day that calls for all Christians to engage in the righteous struggle for racial justice.
This year’s theme, Coat of Many Colours, reminds us that diversity is a gift to be valued. People of all backgrounds are standing up for justice, fighting for their communities and for their right to thrive.
The fight for justice does not end at our borders. It’s not confined to one nation nor one people. It extends to our global neighbours.
For decades, Christian Aid has lobbied and fought for issues such as racial equality, reparations, climate justice and decolonisation. Below are some examples of Christian Aid’s work on racial justice.
You can also have a look for further resources to engage with on the Churches Together website.
For Racial Justice Sunday, we asked some of our staff, partners, and supporters to share their lived experiences and views on the issue of racial injustice.
